Being a mom is the world's most wonderful experience. All the moments leading to the day on which your child is about to enter the world is quite amazing. But it could get creepy if your doctor dresses up like a clown. Something similar happened with this couple.
The moment had finally arrived for this Tennessee couple, who were waiting eagerly to welcome their newborn baby to the world. Justin, 33 and Brittany Selph, 32 was super excited about it. The platform was set. The doctor and his team were ready for the process as well.
Brittany Selph had her due date on November 5, but, you never know what the future holds for you. Giving birth to a baby is a difficult task, sometimes it gets delayed due to some unknown factors. As we all know with babies, they come whenever they want to - and it seems the couple's little girl had planned to come when her doctor was least expecting it.
When they reached hospital what they noticed was quite surprising. They saw that their doctor was dressed up "Joker", a character which was played by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. "We couldn't help but laugh when he walked in the room!" Justin said.
My wife said: "Aww, we had hoped that you wouldn't change, but we never expected him to stay in character all day and into the night," Justin said.
Justin explained that he was about to go Live on Facebook with the whole process, but nurse curtailed his project. The proud dad revealed how their doctor was a "great sport about the whole situation."
"The next morning, he came in to check on Brittany, and said: 'Sorry I couldn't make it in last night, glad to see the delivery went well.' "Joking of course. He also gave her a card of congratulations, and he signed it Dr. Joker."
Justin uploaded the photographs on his Facebook profile, which got popular instantly among friends and family. Dustin Morton commented on the photos: "This is awesome! Could you imagine that being the first thing in the world you see!? Congratulations dad looks like another perfect baby!"
A picture of the doctor in his costume was also uploaded to Imgur and Reddit by someone. One wrote: "The fact that the gown isn’t even pulled all the way on makes me think this guy is totally legit. "That’s realistic as hell. I’ve been with OBs before, and they’re always chill as sh** at deliveries (until they aren’t, of course)."
Another guy commented: "The child born will either have a horrific fear of clowns or some odd affinity toward becoming one..." Oaklyn Saige Selph was born on Halloween and her weight was 7lb 3oz. He said: "My wife is one strong, independent woman. When it became time for Oaklyn to come, it never fazed her. I never thought it would, nothing ever does. I'm a lucky husband and father!
